Welcome to www.careparadox.org (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Ascentria Care Alliance (“Ascentria”) from its offices within the United States on a not-for-profit basis. Ascentria (also, “us”, “we” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the users (“user”, “you” or “your”) of its Site. Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and governs data collection and usage at the Site. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
Personal Information
When you view or access Ascentria’s Site, you do so anonymously. We do not collect personal information that identifies you unless you specifically and voluntarily provide us with that information. For example, in certain areas of the Site, we may ask you to provide us with information that personally identifies you, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card information, or any combination of information that could be used to identify you (“Personal Information”).
If you communicate with us by e-mail or complete online forms, such as to request our newsletter, to be placed on an email list, to volunteer, to donate, or for other reasons, any information provided in such a manner may be collected as Personal Information. By submitting Personal Information, you grant Ascentria the right to transmit, monitor, retrieve, store and use your information in connection with the operation of the Site.
You may choose not to provide us with any Personal Information. In such an event, you can still access and use portions of the Site. However, you will not be able to access or use those areas of the Site or participate in online activities that require your Personal Information.

In the event of any conflict, such additional or different terms, conditions and notices will prevail over this Privacy Policy.
HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Ascentria uses the information you provide in order to fulfill online requests, process credit card information, respond to inquiries, or in other ways as required by law. Ascentria takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Information remains as secure as possible. Ascentria will retain on file the Personal Information you provide, but does not rent, sell, license, or give away this information to third parties for marketing or mailing list purposes without your permission. If you e-mail us, your e-mail information will not be used outside of Ascentria’s system without your permission.
Please note that e-mail is considered a nonsecure form of communication, and it can be accessed and viewed by others without your knowledge and permission. For that reason, to protect your privacy, please do not use e-mail to communicate information that you consider confidential.
Through our Site, we provide access to open positions through our Join Our Team page located at http://www.ascentria.org/join-our-team. If you submit any resume or inquire about careers at Ascentria via e-mail through our Site, we will treat the information submitted with the same degree of confidentiality as if you had submitted it to us via regular mail and use it only for the purpose for which such information was provided to us.
We will not use your credit card information except for purpose related to your donation transaction or as required by law. Your credit card information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your online donation. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by Ascentria, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Specifically, your credit card details are sent directly to our payment providers over a secure industry-standard encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may transfer, sell or assign information concerning the Site and your use of the Site, including without limitation, Personal Information, to third parties, in connection with the sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganization or liquidation of Ascentria.

OUR USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES
We may use “cookies” and other technology to store and sometimes track information about the users of the Site. Ascentria does not make any warranty or representation regarding, nor does it endorse, any linked third-party web sites or the information appearing thereon or any of the products or services described thereon. The Personal Information you choose to provide to, or that is collected by, these third parties is not covered by our Privacy Policy. POLICIES FOR INDIVIDUALS UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE
We are committed to protecting the on-line privacy of children. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Nor is any part of our Site directed to children under the age of 13.
